Capers For Kids Programs:
The Art of Education

Elementary and Intermediate

The students use the techniques of drama to create original stories and act them out. They learn about the actor's tools, the stage and respectfully sharing the playing space. Through story collaboration, they learn sequencing, conflict and resolution, and develop tolerance for the ideas of others. By creating characters, students learn empathy and build sensory and emotional awareness. The field-tested curriculum is designed specifically to benefit children of all learning styles. The tremendous success of this fun-filled program is born of the fact that all children are involved in the process and work together to create their own stories and improvise their own dialogue. All programs conclude with an improvised drama performed for family and friends.
